Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. She is best known for her performance as Skyler White in the AMC television drama Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition, she has played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love performing in the Preparatory school after her family relocated to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre as a student at Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before trying out for film and TV roles. Anna made her debut in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 seasons of Down the Shore. After a brief appearance as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's In 1992, she landed the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also in her career. Gunn was on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the show Numbered Day, a podcast comprised of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad is often built around Walter White's relationship with the wife of his character, Skyler. Their relationship is strained and eventual demise reflect the tragic end to Walter White.
