Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. Her first professional life when she was thirteen in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her nomination was for one of the Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production Into the Woods. The actress reprised her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002 and was nominated for the Drama League Award. Molly appeared in Broadway in the 2004 production of Fiddler on the Roof. The year 2008 was the time she graduated with her B.A. from Princeton University. In 2008, she graduated with a B.A. While she was in university, Molly made her acting debut with Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly began her career after graduating with Off-Broadway performances, including End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly played in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as well as in the the Westport Country Theater's staging of The Diary of Anne Frank where she starred as Anne. Molly is best known for her performance in the 2010 movie Paranormal Activity 2 in which she is the teenage daughter Ali and the ABC comedy produced by Jack burditt and featuring Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
